It’s been a long and stressful season, with less than ideal growing conditions but, Harshell Enterprises is pleased to announce that we have harvested our 2017 sunflower crop. That spectacular yellow field from this summer is now ready for your backyard birdfeeders.
The crop is about 50% of expected yield but the quality is fantastic. There will be a strong demand for local sunflower seed this year and supply is limited.
Once again this year, you are welcome to pick up seed at Levi Home Hardware in Almonte, or at the farm (6443 Martin Street North, Almonte).
